Our Story
Hi. My name is Jesna Rehan, founder of Circe Care, engineer and mom of 3 crazy kids- 2boys and 1 girl.
Our journey with Circe Care began on a family road trip in the year 2018, when my 4 year old daughter wanted to pee badly. Dirty porta potties, not knowing how to hover over toilets and the resulting pee accidents made her anxious about peeing and refusing to drink water throughout the trip. Frustrated and sad after seeing my daughter worried while her brothers enjoy, I set out to search for stand and pee devices for me and my daughter. The devices I found in the market were either too flimsy, small and not discreet. One had to pull the pants way down, which sort of defeat the purpose of such a product, especially when your are out in the open! After several trial and error, I invested whatever I had into making this collapsible discreet female urination device “SU AMIGA” (which means “her friend”) and Circe Care was born on 11th Nov 2019.
I set out on this journey, partly because I wasn’t satisfied with the products in the market, but mainly to show my daughter that we are no different from boys- Whatever her brothers can do, she can do it too and do it better! 😉
